Doubling the investment for Fine Art Bartending School

Objective

Fine Art Bartending School (FABS) came to us with a very simple goal—to fill their in-person bartending courses.

Strategy

At the time, FABS weren’t running any paid activity on social media but were doing a great job of posting engaging and informative organic content.

In the eyes of most, if not all, digital marketers, organic content is tantamount to improving brand trust as well as providing a basis for which to build audiences in your given ads platform. For the most part, social media ad platforms allow users to retarget people who have previously engaged with their content which goes to say that more organic content helps massively when it comes to paid activity.

Since we already had a large bank of organic content to choose from, we were able to hit the ground running with testing engagement and traffic ads, taking the learnings and driving brand awareness and website traffic, building valuable audiences for future ad campaigns.

Taking lessons from our initial campaign results, we later moved into conversion and lead generation campaigns. Again, we carried out testing to understand which of these objectives would be more valuable for achieving the end goal. In terms of filling course spots more quickly and achieving higher revenue, we found conversion campaigns to be the most effective.

Results

An increased ROI of 2.86 over a four month period.

A 19.6% increase in traffic to the FABS website.

An engaged, retargetable audience of over 100K.
